Take a deep breath and hold tight, it might get rather slippery from here on! This is a slimy solution to your skin care problems!

I'm going to cut to the chase here on this post so that you can quickly get over the initial squirm of what I am about to introduce to.
Drum roll, welcome to the miracle skincare product that is snail mucin! Yes you heard me right, I said snail mucin, aka secretion, slime, goop, mucus, yuk! Whatever you want to call it, I call it awesome!
Snail mucin is great for healing and skin rejuvenation! Can we now get past the 'eww' and 'yuk; and reap the benefits?
Think about it, a snail crawls around on its belly all day, often grappling with pretty rough terrain, but there is virtually no damage to this little creatures protective membrane, all because of the healing properties of the secretion that it produces. Snail mucin is packed with a tonne of natural goodies such as proteins, peptides and hyaluronic acid, it has been found to stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin, thus the visible skin rejuvenation.
I love mucin, the stickier the better and at the moment I am using a range of snail products from Mizon which contain up to 92% mucin.

On the skin, Mizon's snail repair intensive ampoule, the all in one repair cream and the eye repair cream do not feel heavy at all and are really easy to apply and are easily absorbed into the skin. They can all be used day and night and I can layer them with other products without them causing pilling or balling up.

The Skincare Pantry recommends
Mizon. I particularly love the all in one repair cream, it is so lightweight and versatile.
